Privacy Policy

Last updated: [Month Day, Year]

This policy explains what information Free & Loud ("we," "us") collects when you visit freeandloud.com or place an order, how we use it, and who we share it with. By using this site, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect information in a few different ways:

  • Order information. When you check out, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your name, email, shipping address, phone number, and payment details. We receive your name, email, shipping address, and order contents. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Account information. If you create an account, we store your email address and an encrypted password. We never store your password in plain text.
  • Newsletter signup. If you subscribe, we store your email address.
  • Cart contents. Items in your cart are stored in your browser (local storage), not on our servers, until you check out.
  • Automatic information. Like most websites, our hosting provider logs basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and to keep the site running. We use IP addresses to rate-limit abusive form submissions.

How We Use Your Information

  • To process and fulfill your order, including shipping and customer support
  • To send order confirmations and shipping updates
  • To send newsletter emails, if you opted in (you can unsubscribe anytime)
  • To maintain your account and order history, if you created one
  • To detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse

We do not sell your personal information.

Who We Share Information With

We share information with the following service providers, only as needed to run the store:

  • Printify (order fulfillment) receives your name, shipping address, phone number, and order contents to print and ship your items.
  • Stripe (payment processing) receives your payment details and billing information to process your transaction securely.
  • Supabase (database and account hosting) stores your order records and account information.
  • Resend (email delivery) is used to send transactional and newsletter emails on our behalf.
  • Vercel (website hosting) serves the site and processes technical request logs.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

Cookies and Local Storage

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and local browser storage to remember your cart between visits. We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

Data Retention

We keep order records as long as necessary for accounting, tax, and customer support purposes. If you delete your account, we retain past order records as required by law but remove your ability to sign in.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of certain uses of it. To exercise any of these rights, email us at admin@freeandloud.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on our databases. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
