Gorillas are herbivorous, predominantly ground-dwelling great apes that inhabit the tropical forests of equatorial Africa. They tend to live in troops with the leader being called a Silverback. This is usually the largest and most aggressive in the group. Many a man (and woman) have adopted the Silverback as their Spirit Animal for obvious reasons. The scientific name, Gorilla gorilla is displayed between the images.
